The WCCA sponsors or is involved with the following events:
Drop In is a play gathering and social time which is held weekly during the school year at the Weston Community Center for infants through preschoolers accompanied by a parent or nanny.
For the annual Halloween Parade children come dressed in their favorite costume and parade around the Town Green escorted by a truck from the Weston Fire Department.
National Library Week and Children's Book Week are celebrated in November and April and feature guest authors and illustrators, crafts, read-a-thons, and "Sleepytime Storytimes". Library enrichment programs are also offered throughout the year.
The Vacation Events (held during December, February, and April public school vacation weeks) usually include puppeteers, magicians, musicians, or comedians.
The annual family Pancake Breakfast is held in January at the Weston High School.
The WCCA joins in the annual, community wide Memorial Day Concert and Spring Fling.
Age Group Activities are planned each month for pre-school through early elementary age children of similar ages accompanied by a parent. These activities include group play, arts and crafts, and various outings.
