*Detoxifying Your Life: Ten easy ways to limit your exposure to harmful chemicals in everyday consumer products. Do you ever wonder what’s in the personal care or cleaning products you and your family use every day? When you see ingredients like phthalates and parabens listed on the label, do you ask yourself what these things are and where they come from? Please join the WCCA and WCL for a panel discussion on ways to detoxify and protect your health on Wednesday April 11 at 7pm at the Josiah Smith Tavern. Dr. Robin Dodson, ScD, from the Silent Spring Institute will present a lively and interactive talk on the hazardous chemicals we come into contact with through the products we use and how these chemicals can affect our health. She will share simple strategies for how to limit our exposures to harmful chemicals and create a healthier home environment for ourselves and our families. Space is limited to 30 WCCA members. Please RSVP on Big Tent by April 10.
*There will be a family-friendly, community-wide sorting event to sort the collected donations for Cradles to Crayons on Saturday April 7th at 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Country School Cafeteria (2 Alphabet Lane, Weston). Please email Noelle Hartshorn at email@example.com if your family wishes to participate. Please include the following information in your email: names of all volunteers, ages of children, and an email address. This is a wonderful opportunity to involve your children in giving back and helping others- we hope you can join us! Space is limited so please be sure to sign up in advance. We appreciate your support for this great cause
