Fall line up!

NEW DATE AND TIME! Join us for the Halloween Parade around the Town Green AND Trick-or-Treating in Weston Center!

Sunday, October 28 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Parade begins promptly at 2:20 at the Town Green (western side by the Firetruck)

We will be decorating trick-or-treating bags before the parade at 2:00pm. After the parade, families will be welcomed in Weston Center to trick-or-treat at local Weston businesses. Please note not all businesses in town will be open, but there will still be plenty of businesses excited to participate! Cookie Decorating until 3:30 pm at Brothers Marketplace!

*Let’s gather together to celebrate Library Week with a visit from children’s book author Gaia Cornwall! Meet at the Weston Public Library at 10am on Saturday November 17, 2018 and Gaia will read Jabari Jumps and talk about being a children’s author. Reply on BigTent by November 14th if you will be attending.

*Celebrate Halloween by wearing your costume to Drop-In. Join us in The Great Room at the Weston Community Center with your infant, toddler, or preschooler for a weekly morning of indoor fun. We provide ride-on toys, slides, soft mats, bagels, and coffee. Please note: Drop-In is limited to Weston residents and WCCA members only. Cancelled on holidays and Weston public school closings (including inclement weather closings). *Please join the WCCA in a donation drive to benefit Birthday Wishes, a Newton-based non-profit organization that provides birthday parties for homeless children and teens. Birthday Wishes serves more than 185 shelters and transitional living facilities throughout Massachusetts as well as greater New England and Long Island, bringing joy to thousands of homeless children each year. The drive will run from November 5th to November 16th. Let’s help local kids enjoy their special day!

Birthday Wishes currently has a particular need for the following items:

  • Cake mix, frosting, and disposable baking pans
  • Wooden puzzles for toddlers
  • Journals and diaries for teen boys and girls
  • Soccer balls, basketballs, and footballs

Please note that all items must be NEW. Birthday Wishes is unable to accept even gently used items.
